Victims Assistance Compensation Program...

You may be eligible for compensation if:

• You have been injured as a result of a crime of violence committed in the province of Ontario, such as assault, murder, sexual assault and child abuse.
• You are responsible for the care of a victim and have had a loss of income or expenses as a result of the victim's injury or death.
• You are the dependant of a deceased victim (in the case of a murder).
• You were injured while trying to prevent a crime or while helping a police officer make an arrest.
